I don’t think I have ever done a french capsule wardrobe before, so this is a new one based on a request. A young woman who is moving to Paris for 3.5 months. This is where my jealousy kicks in.

Once upon a time, pre this last weird year, I received a large amount of packing list requests. That immediately stopped last February and I actually miss it.

Can you build a spring capsule wardrobe on a budget? Yes, yes you can. You can build any capsule wardrobe on a budget with a little creativity and planning.

I’m going to start off by saying that this capsule wardrobe is colourful. People asked for one with a little more colour, so I tried to put a fun colourful vibe together.

It reminds of early 90s bold colours and style, and the United Colours of Benneton.

It’s hard to get into a spring capsule wardrobe mindset when it is cold outside, and it’s been pretty cold this past week. But I like to start thinking about it before winter is over for a couple of reasons:

1. Stores begin to sell merchandise a season early, and it is nice to get a jump on things.
2. It is something to look forward to during the darkest and most depressing months of the year. And boy, it’s pretty depressing this year.
