Since summer just started I thought it was a good time for a weekend packing list for summer. What I am seeing more and more since travelling has opened back up are less long trips and more short-term vacations in larger numbers.

It always surprises me when an old post of mine starts to get a lot of traffic again. The packing list I am talking about is probably around 7 years old and the clothing style is quite dated, so I am not sure why it’s making rounds again.

Over the past week I have noticed a huge influx of traffic to my summer vacation packing lists. Mainly my Italy based ones, especially the Florence packing list.
So if you are headed there, be warned that apparently a lot of other people are too.

It feels weird saying “summer’s last hurrah” since it feels like summer only just began, but my birthday is Friday and as I have always said, when my birthday hits, summer is pretty much done.
Everything after that point feels like it goes by in superspeed. That was always my experience when I was younger and it feels even more so now.
That being said I have seen a few people that I know posting photos of their children’s first days of school already. So I know that summer has already ended for many.
