I am rolling into this weekend with the mindset that I am going to accomplish some of the things that I said I was going to do this summer. Yikes. We still have boxes that aren’t unpacked here which is even more yikes.

Most of the boxes are actually my teenagers and she severely lacks motivation so I really need to kick her ass into gear over the next week or so.

I honestly didn’t do much this week because it has just been way too hot. Both my girls don’t do well in the heat at all, and when I brought my oldest to the clinic to get her second vaccination on Monday it was extremely hot.

On the way home, both of them were borderline fainting on the sidewalk. I thought Merle was going to have a heart attack because she was purple and making really horrendous sounds.

Needless to say, that is why I have not gone anywhere that involves walking this week. The drama that was involved in a simple outing is so not worth it.
