Black Friday & Cyber Week Sales List

As midnight hit last night the emails started rolling in. I woke up to 93 emails this morning just pertaining to Black Friday sales. Yes, I counted them.

I didn’t go through all of them but it motivated me to text my oldest daughter “POSTERS” so she gets her shit together and finalizes the list of old movie posters that she wants.

Because of course they are also having a big sale.

I compiled a list of a lot of the sales that I know about, what they entail, and if there are any coupon codes that are needed.

It’s going to be a big one.

As I was going through the shops online picking items for the winter capsule wardrobe this week I noticed that a lot of the pieces were on sale.

We have just entered the biggest sale season of the year and it looks to be even bigger this year due to everything that is going on.

It also started much earlier this year than in years past since there are so many places that are still unable to do in-person shopping.

Online has become the biggest christmas shopping drive by default.

Twas the night before lockdown and all through the city…..people were once again hoarding toilet paper. Assholes.

I can’t believe they are doing this again.

Literal lineups for grocery stores all over the city when they are not even closing. It’s funny how people never learn.

Actually it’s not funny, it’s sad. And frustrating.

Weekly Reads and Finds

Well, they decided to lock us down again. But here is the kicker. It’s just for the Toronto/Peel region which makes no sense because although we are the hotspot, people will be travelling 15 minutes outside the city borders to eat and shop and just spread it outwards.

So this is lots of fun. I love it when they tell you this at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Friday to go into effect at 12:01 am Monday.

This weekend is going to be Chaos.

Well, the weather is back to cold after the heatwave last week, and I have been wearing lots of layers. It actually made me feel inspired to build a winter capsule wardrobe today.

Yes, I am a glutton for punishment and usually don’t get my weekly capsule wardrobes done (and sometimes started) until the night I post them which is why this is a day late.

I spent my time on the kids’ gift guide earlier this week which took my time form this one. Plus, I had to bake a birthday cake for Tom’s birthday last night as well.

I would love to be like some people and have weeks of posts lined up at any given time but I just can’t seem to make it work with everything else that has to be completed each day.

I decided to do the kids holiday gift guide for kids and teens different this year. This year I have taken the exact things off my girls’ wishlists, and the exact items that I have already bought/am intending to buy.

If you don’t know I have a 9-year-old and 15-year-old. They both have birthdays within the next month so they will be 10 and 16 before Christmas.

It is an expensive time of year.
