What I Wore This Week

I am wearing a blue t-shirt, Agolde jeans, yellow block hhels, a link necklace, and a vintage magazine clutch.

I am wearing a jumpsuit, oversized white blouse, black slides, a belt bag, and Le Spec sunglasses.

I am wearing an Anine Bing sweatshirt, faux leather trousers, a Jenny Bird necklace, green flats, and a grey Zara bag.

It is a long weekend here, which is always nice albeit disorienting when it comes to what day it is. Nothing special, just a Civic Holiday that always falls on the first Monday in August. It is also my birthday week.

My birthday is on Friday, I’ll be 42. I had to stop and think about that for a bit because I thought it was 43 for a few minutes. Time is a blur.

I was up really late last night, like 4:30-ish because Merle would not go to sleep. I’m surprised she wasn’t exhausted because I took her for a walk yesterday that was 8kms and I thought for sure she would be knocked out at a decent time.

What do I want for my birthday? I have no idea.

Tom asked me to send him like 10 things that I have on my wishlist so he can pick something from there. I sent him 4 things I think. I don’t really have 10 things on a wishlist at the moment.

I have really messed up my sleeping patterns over the last 1+, but they have been exceptionally bad over the last 3 months. Like still up at 4 am kind of messed up schedule.

And while most days feel like I am trying to mentally swim through mud, it actually worked out in my favour last night.

I will classify today as the headache day since I woke up with one, and I am going to bed with it too. Headaches really kick the shit out of you.

I suffer from migraines on occasion but there was a time several years ago that I was getting 1-2 a week on average where they incapacitated me to the point of vomiting for hours.

I’m thankful that the time period has seemed to pass, but I am finding that the amount of regular headaches is increasing for me. I assume it is a product of the last 18 months.
