I am wearing a black shirt dress, Everlance crossbody, Le Specs sunglasses, New Balance Sneakers, and a tote.

I amwearing a cropped tee, blue blazer, and Abercrombie jeans, with a crossbody, and blue slides.

I am wearing a Zara blouse, Abercrombie jeans, and Everlane nude Day Flats.

I am wearing black joggers, a cropped tee, and a tan blazer, with a crossbdy, tote, Le Specs sunglasses, and Vintage New Balance.

I am sitting here waiting for a big storm that is supposed to come through. The wind is starting to pick up, but I am not holding my breath. So far this summer, every single time they have predicted a good storm hitting us it seems to be minimal or pass us by.

A full 24 hours of rain would be nice because I don’t think we got one of those days for the entire summer. I love rain and loathe the heat. If that isn’t any indication that I live in the wrong city, I don’t know what is.

Tom ordered us Dairy Queen Blizzards that just arrived and they immediately had to go into the freezer.

I'm wearing a black sundress, green print cropped cardigan, slides, and a tote.

It is about two weeks until school starts and I still haven’t figured out our game plan. It is Roo’s last year of high school and my plan for the writing course went into the shitter since it now won’t be ready until spring 2020.

I am not really sure what way to go with it now.

This might in fact be the year when I finish the plans the night before.

I hope not.

It is another headache day today. We went out to dinner last night and Tom ordered a gigantic steak for himself. When I say gigantic I mean it came out on a large wooden slab and looked like a meal that would have been served on The Flinstone’s.

It was a huge amount of meat that promptly put him to sleep when he got home…which wouldn’t have been bad if it didn’t result in him having meat dreams.

Not dreams of actual meat but induced by the massive amount that he ate.

I have really messed up my sleeping patterns over the last 1+, but they have been exceptionally bad over the last 3 months. Like still up at 4 am kind of messed up schedule.

And while most days feel like I am trying to mentally swim through mud, it actually worked out in my favour last night.

I swear that I say this every single Sunday, but I can’t believe that the weekend is over already. I feel like I accomplished nothing once again.

The only thing that I managed to do today was swap out shelves with Merle. I traded my tall, white bookshelf with her shorter, yellow shelf to give her more space in the room and more places to store stuff.
