I know you guys, we are trying to remain positive but I am a cup half empty type of person. I find that this generally works out best for me because when something doesn’t turn out the way my negative minded self thinks then I tend to appreciate it more.

That being said, we all know that the numbers aren’t looking good in the world, and I have this niggling sense that there are going to be a lot of people working from home again after the new year and they are going to need a refresher of work from home clothes.

I am finding lately that I am staying up later and later and drinking more and more coffee every day which is the complete opposite of what I want to be doing. It’s crazy.

It’s like things are taking me longer to complete each day. I almost feel like I am going to reverse my days and nights. It’s exhausting.

Merle’s birthday is on Tuesday and I need to finish up her presents.

This time of year is tough because the holidays always tend to be a financially tight time for most people, even if you plan way ahead. It is also the time of year where you are expected to spend the most.

This means that there is little to no money left in the budget for refreshing your winter wardrobe, and winter tends to be the most expensive season to dress for.

Budget isn’t the dirty or shameful word that many people feel it is.

Well, happy Friday! Merle got her first dose of covid vaccine today and it is like a weight lifted off my shoulders. She was excited, and I was excited. So far she feels fine, just a minor sore arm.

I submitted my final assignment for school this semester and I am just waiting back to hear what my final grade is. I’m doing pretty well and I think I might pull off a perfect grade for this one class.

I’ve got a headache and I am sooo tired tonight.
