Due to the grey weather blahs, I am feeling a little more colourful again this week with an Edgy capsule wardrobe. It is also making me want to dig deep into the depths of my wardrobe and pull out everything I have to inventory it, instead of just grabbing the easiest things at the front of the closet every day.

This will involve switching a couple of shelves around, which is my plan over the next couple of days.

I had a big plan on putting out a budget work capsule wardrobe post first, but there are so many sales going on right now that every time I made a selection, it sold out.

I try my damnedest to include things for things that have a full stock of sizes and check the same day as posting as well just to make sure because I know how frustrating it is to like something only to see that it is not available.

This time of year is tough because the holidays always tend to be a financially tight time for most people, even if you plan way ahead. It is also the time of year where you are expected to spend the most.

This means that there is little to no money left in the budget for refreshing your winter wardrobe, and winter tends to be the most expensive season to dress for.

Budget isn’t the dirty or shameful word that many people feel it is.

This is my first winter capsule wardrobe for the season because even though it is technically still autumn, it’s the beginning of December, Christmas is creeping faster than I can wrap my head around, and the weather is something different every time I look out the window.

Welcome to winter.

Which most people hate, but I actually really love. Maybe not the stab you in the face ice winds, but when the wind is calm and the day is cold, I truly love it.
