This week I went in the opposite direction of the last post and did a 12 Piece Maximalist Summer Capsule Wardrobe. It bounces off of last week’s unexpectedly successful 12-piece Minimalist Summer Capsule Wardrobe that I put together.
If you are anything like me, you alternate between waking up and wanting to have a maximalist wardrobe like Beth Jones, or you want to go in the opposite direction and seek out a pared back and minimalist capsule wardrobe like the epic aesthetic of 90s minimalism.
I was going in a completely different direction this week, but mother nature had a different idea. She decided to spit on my spring capsule wardrobe and bring the summer heat full force.

We are entering my least favourite season for dressing. I like spring while it is still cooler, but there is this moment when it’s like the flick of a switch and the heat and humidity of early summer temperatures come barrelling in.
