Everybody has those moments when they wish they had a more colourful style and want to add more colourful clothes to their wardrobes, but ultimately fall back into their tried and true pieces which are often neutrals or subdued colours.
What does it mean to have an eclectic wardrobe? If you are wondering whether your own wardrobe might fall under this category, it probably does. I feel like my wardrobe could be considered eclectic in many ways and if I really dug in and veered a bit from my style, I could come up with some very interesting outfits.
When we think about preppy style often our minds go back to the classic ideals which originated from the Ivy League schools in the U.S. and are characterized by a polished, collegiate, and a somewhat traditional look.
