12 Piece Capsule Wardrobes

When I work with clients who are still trying to figure out their personal style, I often have to explain that people generally don’t fall under one category of styles when it comes to fashion.

Fall is my favourite season for fashion and one that I always wish that I had more money to spend on because there are so many pieces I would love to add to my wardrobe in all price ranges. If I could only buy clothes for one season a year, it would be fall hands down.

I have been getting into a lot of conversations lately about what we want out of our wardrobes and the words that I most often hear are easy, simple, and effortless. You want to be able to reach into your closet, grab anything and have it work for most occasions.

You know how you can be satisfied, comfortable, and confident with your personal style, yet all that falls to the wayside when you encounter one of those people who manage to make even though most basic outfits look impossibly chic?

It has been about 15 years since I decided that my wardrobe wasn’t doing the job it was supposed to, and I wanted to downsize to a much smaller wardrobe. Something that focused on my style rather than a mish-mash of impulse purchases.
