As you have already sat down to your Thanksgiving dinners and have made your game plans for Black Friday shopping tomorrow and are heading to bed (or most likely in bed already), I probably should have scheduled this Holiday packing list for last week instead.

The obsessive and controlling part of my brain had other plans and wanted to make sure that I completed the last post in the Dressing for your Body Shape Series posts before I jumped back to something else though.

It is Tom’s birthday today and every year he gets to request a cake that I make. For the last 3 years he has chosen the same cake. It is a cheesecake that I tweaked the recipe for since we aren’t huge white chocolate fans.

I am absolutely not a baker, but I substitute semi-sweet for the white chocolate and it is one of the best cheesecakes that I have had.

An hourglass body shape is synonymous with curvy feminine idealism. It is the shape that is deemed most “womanly” throughout a lot of history, and it is also the body shape that is most naturally balanced.

With the other body shapes aside from the rectangle, we dressed to balance the silhouette. With the hourglass figure, we have a body that goes out-in-out in relatively balanced measurements to give the appearance of an hourglass.

I treated myself this week and bought a pair of boots that I have been stalking since summer. By stalking, I mean keeping the tab open and checking to make sure that they still have my size every single day.

This may also have involved adding it to my cart and almost checking out too.

Does it count as treating yourself if you sell things to buy it though?
