My highlight today was watching the Super Bowl Half Time Show. It was fantastic. The 90s me was living my best life watching, while modern me was enjoying it just as much if not more.
As you can see, this past week was a trench coat week for me because I got my vintage 80s Aquascutum trench that I bought off of Poshmark in the mail.
I love it.
It is better than I envisioned.
And so much better than any modern version that I have bought over the past few years.
I also got my Brixton newsboy hat.
I wasn’t sure what size to get seeing that it is typically a men’s hat but is advertised as unisex. My head is on the larger size, so I debated between the small and medium sizes.
I went with the small and while it fits, medium probably would have been a bit better. It stretched out a bit after wearing it, so I am satisfied.
I bought it in both the grey herringbone and the brown.
I prefer the style of a men’s hat. It suits my style and face better, and I have been trying to find a vintage newsboy cap, but apparently vintage men had small heads because they never fit me.
They perch on top like a kid’s hat.
On a side note: It is super fun when the government sends you a letter that arrives on Friday asking you to contact them asap, and you can’t call them about it until Monday because they don’t work on weekends.
Thanks for ruining the weekend. They probably do it on purpose.
Stay safe.
