I am working through the new show Cruel Intentions on Amazon, based on the 1999 movie, which is then based on one of my favourite movies Dangerous Liaisons which is adapted from one of my favourite books of the same name.
That was a mouthful.
It is not Glenn Close and John Malkovich level but it is an okay way to waste some time.
This reminds me of the Friends episode where they are doing the challenge to see who gets the apartment and one of the questions is “Rachel claims this is her favourite movie…but her actual favourite movie is”, Dangerous Liaisons, and Weekend at Bernie’s.
So funny. I miss that show being on Netflix. It was my comfort watch.
The Ordinary Company had a November-long sale for 23% off everything. I panicked last night because I forgot to restock some I was getting low on, but the sale seems to still be running.
I have used it for years. When it comes to things going on my skin I can’t jump around trying different products.
My skin is sensitive and if it really gets mad then it will start a cycle of breakouts that is hard to get out of so I stick with what works for me.
Anyway, I also have a drugstore beauty budget so it fits the bill. I spent $80 CAD on 6 products that will last for more than 6 months for me with daily use.
Adidas is having a 40% off sale for most things using the code CYBER. My red Japan shoes are included in this (sold out in the US) and the green which is an awesome colour that I just ordered but they aren’t available as a part of the sale in Canada
Which is frustrating. I wish they made their sales universal.
I did get these track pants this week that have I have been waiting for to come to the store for a long time. They might be part of the sale as well, but I won’t guarantee it since they are brand new.
My Nine Inch Nails sweatshirt is also currently on sale this weekend.
My youngest daughter is very into art. She is creating and drawing and sketching constantly. There is like 60 sketchbooks that are stacked around the apartment full with no place to go.
She has progressed from beginner art supplies to the more expensive versions to allow her to improve her skills, and the current thing on her wishlist is COPIC markers.
Which are EXPENSIVE. So I am currently searching to see if I can get a smaller pack of those on a discount for Cyber Monday.
The US prices are so much better than the Canadian prices. Damn. I really wanted to get her some good art supplies for her birthday which is in a couple of weeks.
I hope there are some good deals tomorrow.
