I will admit that while I know that the Canada Post strike is horrendous for small businesses, it has been good for my online shopping since places like Poshmark and Etsy use Canada Post as their main or last-mile carrier.
A resolution would be nice though, so these businesses that depend on the holiday rush can squeeze out as much as they can before it turns to January which is a brutal time for all businesses.
My oldest is 20 today.
She slept until 3, I ordered her Panera and a big box of Cinnabons. I bought her the Vivienne Westwood bag I talked about last post and a video game.
Now she is happily eating her sandwich while playing a videogame she has wanted for 4 years, and testing to see how much her new bag will carry.
My youngest’s birthday is coming in 3 weeks.
It is an expensive time of year.
I am working on and finishing up some client jobs tonight, as well as pulling some secondhand finds for an Instagram Stories secondhand finds hour.
After pondering it for a bit, I was thinking that I might also take those finds and put them all together in a post on here, because I know there are a lot of you who don’t do the Instagram thing and miss out.
And sometimes it is easier to see them all laid out instead of stories that speed by and time out. I haven’t completely decided yet, but it is something I am tossing around.
I might give it a try to see how it works out and go from there. Anyway, secondhand shopping is one of my favourite things to do both in-store and online and I love sharing things that I find with you.
No gatekeeping here.
Note: My long sweatshirt dress is from Raey which became no more when MatchesFashion closed, so I tried to find it on the secondhand market to share a link and I found it in the navy in a UK 6.
It does fit extremely oversized though so that would probably fit a US 6 as well, just not in the same way.
