We are really late to putting up the Christmas tree this year so I buckled down tonight and decided to get the lights on it at least because that is my least favourite part to do.

Only to have one of the strings lose power to half of their lights while doing it.

Thankfully I bought a spare box this year because I can never remember how many I need, and I ended up with just enough.

The decorations will go on tomorrow, or maybe late tonight depending on how late I stay up.

I started a new series this week where I share my secondhand finds.

Looking for secondhand and vintage pieces is one of my favourite things to do, and I always end up with a million tabs open to save the things that caught my eye.

So I figured if I compile a bunch of them into a post, and share via here and my Instagram stories, then at least those hours spent searching might pan out for someone else.

Anyway, I haven’t done any Black Friday shopping except for one item that I ordered from Zara, and the green sweater I included in yesterday’s capsule that I ordered for one of my girls for Christmas because it is on super sale.

The Zara piece is a blazer that has been in my cart forever so it is the perfect opportunity to try it out and see if I like it as much as I hope that I will.

Blazers are starting to swing back into the fitted silhouette and this one has a cute little pelplum.

It will be a nice change to have a variety of fits in blazers other than just the oversized ones that have been around for many seasons now.
