Something that I really like about the holiday season, is that we get mail on the weekends to stay on top of it. At least here in the big city, we do.

I was excited to be notified that my Poshmark package was delivered today. I found a pair of vintage Levi’s for $19.

It was a great deal that I couldn’t pass up because I was on the hunt for a pair that has a shorter inseam.

On a super fun note, I made the mistake of going to the mall today, which I feel is something I have said weekly since the busy season started.

It was not fun, in case you missed the sarcasm. Christmas shoppers are overwhelming.

I was trying to find pyjamas for my youngest because her favourite pair ripped beyond being fixable, and every store I went into had only xs or xxxl sizes left.

I ended up buying her a pair of men’s, which have shockingly deep pockets.

Like so deep that you can fit a hairdryer, plus the cord in them. I know because we tried it.

Yes, men always get the benefit of having pockets in everything, but in what world do they need pockets that deep in a pair of pyjamas?

And amidst the season when one is technically not supposed to buy things for themselves, I bought myself something.

I’m all for women buying themselves things more often if they can afford it. Since we will often feel guilty and spend the money not on ourselves instead.

Anyway, one of my wish list items was on for 40% off so I grabbed it. It is an Adidas blazer and as someone DM’d me, “very slav style” and I totally agree.

It has that sporty streetwear feel, with the added chicness of a blazer. Super fun, and I can’t wait to style it.

It’s so fun that I think I am going to include it in this week’s capsule wardrobe. Maybe.

  1. I would love an idea or two on how you would style the Adidas blazer… I’m intrigued.

  2. Lol, I literally almost choked on my evening coffee reading that bit about men’s pjs having such deep pockets. I guess they “may” run out of the house and wear the pjs as outerwear?

I am all for 1 for you and 1 for me at the holidays when I can afford it.
Yes, the mall is meh. I work at a retail home decor store that is free standing and not so meh but it is getting overwhelming with shoppers most days.
