Okay, I know that I said on Friday night that I hadn’t bought anything for Black Friday and had no intention of it, but I take that back.

I saw that my Everlane wool trousers were included in the sale, and they also come in two other colours.

I have the brown houndstooth, so I bought the grey herringbone.

It also comes in a navy and white stripe which I also have interest in, but the cat hair is out of control and that would be a magnet for it.

I’ll have to ponder that before the sale is over because I wear these trousers a lot.

I say they are true to size, but if you are in between two sizes, or want something a bit slouchier then go up one size because the waist is quite high and fitted.

A good collection of wide-leg trousers is an integral part of my wardrobe.

I would also like to have some ankle-skimming styles which would work well in spring and summer, so that is going to be on my wishlist.

COS usually has those cropped ones that I like, but my local COS never has them and I really want to try them on before ordering.

Maybe I’ll have luck when the seasons transition to spring again.

Anyway, that is probably it for me this sale season. There were a few things that I have had my eye on for the last year or so that I had hoped might be included in sales but weren’t, or sold out fast.

It actually feels good to be done shopping now. I can actually go out shopping to enjoy myself and not have a mission that I feel like I have to accomplish.

Because walking around a store/mall/street that is decorated for Christmas is one of my favourite things.
