They keep saying that there will be a huge thunderstorm, and I am patiently waiting, but it always fizzles out to nothing and is disappointing.

I love a good rainstorm, and we need some really intense rain right now to battle those forest fires that are making the sky hazy and the air smells like melting plastic.

Climate change is no joke. I’ve never experienced it quite like this before and it is frightening.

I recently started watching The Practice on Disney Plus. I never watched it when it first ran, and I was in the mood for some 90s tv so I thought that I would give it a shot.

So far, so good, but the theme song is awful. Is it even a song? The theme music? Whatever, it’s bad, and I am thankful for the skip option at the start.

I was able to finagle myself a pair of green Adidas Gazelles last week.

They are a reissue of the 1991 version and the colour is a vintage green called Faded Archive, and they have basically been consistently sold out, so I had to grab 1/2 larger when they came in.

I wasn’t taking the chance of passing them up and then never restocking in my size. I had to do the same with my red Sambas, and they are fine, so hopefully they will fit similarly.

Plus, I had a 30% off code to use up.

For fit, I wear a women’s 8, but I am more of an 8-8.5 than a 7.5-8 if that makes sense. So on the larger end of an 8, and I wear a 7 or 7.5 men’s in most Adidas sneakers.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I am a shoe and bag person now.

That was never the case before, but I seem to get more excited over a pair of shoes, than clothes lately. I think it is because both shoes and bags are the finishing touches that can really tie your look together.

I appreciate their versatility.

Anyway, the green is a great colour and if you want to stalk the site in case your size comes in then you can find them here. They are also fully available here but the cost varies by shoe size.

Canada Day falling on the weekend screwed up the mail, so I won’t get them until some time Tuesday which sucks.

I’ve wanted this colour since their release in January/February, but I kept missing them, so I am happy that I was able to grab a pair when they came in.

And if they are too big, I’ll just wear an insole.
