Apparently, this week ended up being an Adidas track pant week. I didn’t even notice until I gathered the photos for this post.

The last pair are the blue ones that I found thrifting.

I’ve been doing a lot of online secondhand shopping, not buying but searching. Because it is during those searches that you often find something that is perfect for your wardrobe.

I always like to have a running wishlist of things that I am searching for, but I never just stick to that list because there are so many amazing secondhand pieces that you will never know what you want to add to your wishlist until you see it.

There were a couple of pairs of shoes that I am currently watching for this very reason. In various bright pops of colour for fall.

I like the idea of bringing spring-like vibrancy into the fall and winter instead of going darker or more muted like we often do.

Even if your outfit is all black or grey, a bright pair of shoes will really counterbalance and bring life to the look.

I was just realizing how it was 7 pm on Sunday night and I literally accomplished nothing this weekend. I didn’t even turn on a load of laundry until 30 minutes ago.

But I did spend a lot of time on Poshmark and planned out some great fall outfit ideas.

Apparently, that is how I spend summer. I don’t focus on my summer outfits because they don’t bring me joy.

I focus on the upcoming seasons that do give me that excitement to get dressed.

Because in summer I go into energy saving mode where I am just running on a minimal amount of energy and have way less creative juice than in other seasons.

And while I like the sunlight and extra long days, I can feel it making me tired and lazy. It’s funny because my husband is the opposite, and he has had these bursts of creativity lately.

I’m jealous.

Maybe I just need a really good night’s sleep. Wishful thinking.
