The head cold going through the house has taken down kid two. It is still up in the air for me, one minute I feel fine, and the next I feel like I am coming down with something.
I have been excitingly tracking the travel of my new vintage jacket, and hope that it will arrive tomorrow. I can’t wait to see if it fits.
The best part of winter is that you can wear a shit outfit, throw on a great coat, and look fab. There is no hiding it in summer.
Tom went thrifting today without me because I had some stuff that I am working on that I need to finish, and the kids are sick, and he found me something cool.
A vintage Cats the musical snow globe from 1981.
It is in fantastic condition, and the person must have cared for it well because any snow globes that I usually find have yellowish, cloudy water.
It plays the song Memories which always makes me want to cry.
I had the cassette tape and used to play that song over and over when I was a kid.
I love musicals.
Did I ever mention that Tom and I went to Evil Dead The Musical years ago?
It was fantastic and hilarious, and I highly recommend it. I also advise avoiding the splatter seats unless you don’t care.
The people sitting there got pretty messy.
The last show we went to was The Phantom of the Opera just before the pandemic hit, and I am so glad we did since Phantom is ending.
Which makes me so sad because I totally want to see it again, and again, and again.
I would love Mama Mia to come back because ABBA is my guilty pleasure, and my teenagers as well. Plus, she loved the movie since she was really young.
Anyway, that is my long-winded way of saying that I would really like to go to a musical soon.
I’m not sure that I want to even try battling my way to get Hamilton tickets. I feel like we would all end up having to sit in different areas due to only single seats being left.
I currently have my eye on a secondhand animal print Salvatore Ferragamo bag, so if I sell a couple of things on Poshmark over the next day or so, I might buy it for myself.
