This week was one of those weeks. My youngest has a pretty good head cold (not covid) and has been dragging her ass. I play the game, “am I getting a sore throat or is the air just really dry?” game all day.

It’s fun.

I did manage to get a new Digital Guide wardrobe refresher completed and up on the site, and I finished a post on breaking fashion rules, and styling a navy and black capsule wardrobe as well.

I had so many Zara returns I’m scared they are going to flag my account, and the kitten decided that litter is better to be spilled outside the box than in it because then you can play in it.

I’ve got a few clients that I am working on and trying to finish up this weekend, and I need to complete Merle’s Halloween costume.

I also bought a couple of Christmas/birthday gifts this week and I feel like I am finally accomplishing things.

Finally, I found a vintage American Girl Doll that was on my teen’s unicorn want list for years.

It feels like it was just Christmas.

  1. I was reading about when you dropped off your ancestry kit in the mail box. I’m about to do one. Did yours ever go through as in was it received?

    • Yes it did and it actually didn’t take that long. It’s a good time to get it in before they start having seasonal sales. Then the processing time increases due to larger amounts of kits being sent in from the sales. It was one of the best things I ever did.
