I am not going to lie, I spent the greater part of today thinking that it was Saturday. A mid-week holiday always throws me off. I didn’t realize it until I was trying to order dinner and noticed a lot of the places were closing at 6:30 instead of much later.
That clued me in.
It was an order from three different places because no one can agree on one place, sort of night. Greek for Roo, Harvey’s for Merle and I, and Tom ordered Red Lobster, making me want to throw up.
Fun fact: I hate seafood with a passion. Like the smell of it turns my stomach and seeing a dead lobster makes me both simultaneously sad and grossed out.
When I was pregnant with my oldest, Tom and I went to a buffet down the street because it had all you can eat crabs legs. I remember sitting across from him and when he cracked a leg some crab juice shot into the air and landed in my drink.
He is currently eating them on the balcony to avoid another crab juice mishap.
A long while back I said that I wanted to up my accessories game and I have been working towards doing that. I recently bought this necklace that arrived on Friday, and I also found a really cool necklace on Poshmark yesterday.
It is a vintage 1970s gold-tone, articulated snake choker that you can wrap around your neck in different ways. I’m pretty excited about this piece because I have been searching for a snake necklace for a long time.
Summer sales are starting which seems so weird since summer literally just started, but I was super excited to see that Abercrombie has some leather trousers for fall this year.
They even have curve.
Leather trousers are like my fall, winter, and spring (before it gets too hot) staple. I’m super curious about their fit.
They are the straight leg ankle that I am interested in and I know that their straight leg, ankle jeans are awesome so I may have to try them before they run out of sizes.
I should probably sell some stuff on Poshmark before I do though.
