Well, so much for the rain-filled weekend that I was looking forward to. It was actually sunny and extremely hot. It was also ridiculously windy. I had to walk down to the post office today to drop off my weekend Poshmark sales and I got to experience the wind firsthand.

It always forms a wind vortex in between the condos and tall buildings, but today it was excessive. Stupid me didn’t realize this until I was already on my way and I was wearing some wide leg linen pants that became like a couple of parachutes on my legs making walking extremely difficult.

I am sure it was humorous to watch me attempt to walk down the sidewalk. It was pretty funny, and if it wasn’t so bloody hot I would have had a good laugh about it. In reality, I felt like crying because I just wanted to get it done and go home.

I have been trying to get this Zara bag for a couple of weeks, but I missed out on it both times I got an in-stock notification email. I scored one late last night because I just happened to still be awake when the 3 am in-stock email arrived.

Have you ever bought anything from Steven Rhodes before? If you have a person in your life who has a dark/macabre sense of humour they would probably enjoy his stuff.

He takes vintage book covers and gives them a fun, dark twist. You can buy them on clothes, wall art, bedding, pillows etc.

Both my girls have t-shirts, and the sherpa lined blankets that they love. I recently bought myself one of the blankets too. I get the 60″ x 80″ sherpa lined and they are big enough to cover a twin size bed and are perfect for sitting on the couch.

They are easy to launder, and are a fun, unique piece, especially for a kids/teens room.

It’s never too early to think about Christmas presents, according to my youngest who has already provided me with her Christmas wish list…

Stay safe.
