I am not sure if the Zara sale has started for all countries or just Canada at the moment but I swore I was going to avoid it. Surprise, surprise I didn’t. When I got the “Zara Sale has started” notification on my phone the adrenaline kicked in.

It brings out this weirdly competitive side of me that I wasn’t aware existed until I started shopping this sale. The good news is that they kept everything that I had in my cart before the sale started, in my cart.

They usually empty it and make you hunt for the things you wanted. This time, I saw that two items out of three that I had in my cart were included in the sale (a necklace wasn’t), so I grabbed them.

I got an oversized poplin blouse in a tan colour, a pair of yellow open-toe shoes with a block heel, and a necklace. They have super easy returns so I never have to worry about that.

I swear that I have a minimum of two returns floating in the universe from online purchases at any given time. With the stores being closed for so long I have really had to branch out my online shopping which is both good and frustrating.

The good is that you get access to many things that you probably would never get to buy without online shopping. The frustrating is that what you see on the website is often a more flattering picture of what you actually get.

There are so many things that I would have passed up if I was able to see them in person before.

It’s funny though because up until about 3 years I never returned anything. Like, ever. I’m not sure how I managed that.

I’m going to start hunting for my second shot tomorrow. They cut down the time period between the first and second doses here and because I got AZ the first time, I can choose to get one of the others for my second shot.

I hope it doesn’t up the side effects because I felt pretty ill for 24 hours after the first dose.

On a positive note, my left shoulder is now starting to feel better. It got jacked after my first shot. I think they injected me too high and it caused some pain and mobility issues.

I finally have been able to start sleeping on that side again.

Let’s hope that it doesn’t repeat itself with does #2.

Stay safe.
