I just spent 45 minutes of continuous plunging trying to unclog my kids’ bathroom. What is with kids? I swear I have to do it at least twice a week. I clock it in as cardio minutes on my iWatch.

This shit is ridiculous…literally. At least we have two bathrooms now so I can take a break and go back to it if need be.

I remember once when we had only one bathroom it was clogged so bad that I had to walk my ass down to Walmart at 11 pm during a snowstorm to buy a better plunger.

Not fun.

Changing topics, I have a love/hate relationship with Instagram businesses. On one hand, I love how easy it is for someone to start selling with a small business on there, on the other hand, you have to move FAST if you want something.

I follow tons of vintage retailers on Instagram and they always do their uploads of new product spontaneously throughout the day so it is hard to keep track of.

It works on a first person to DM is the first person the get it basis. If you don’t pay within 30 minutes of receiving the Paypal invoice it goes to the next person in line.

It brings out my previously unknown competitive side.

I got the above poker vintage sweatshirt from @mamalovesyouvintage which is a Toronto shop. I was able to pick it up so I didn’t have to pay to ship, but they do ship worldwide.

I have now set my Instagram to give me notifications every time they post something new to raise my chances of a successful purchase. They always have unique pieces.

I managed to get my two main bookshelves moved and set up this weekend as I promised myself that I would. Now to move on to the mountain of kids clothes and bags of stuffed animals.

Note to anyone who either is planning on having kids or has super young kids and you haven’t gone stuffed animal overboard yet.

DO NOT BUY MANY STUFFED ANIMALS.

They will take over your house and no one will ever want to part with any of them.

This is a lesson that I wish I learned 16 years ago.

Stay safe.
