So our new lockdown starts tonight at midnight I believe, which is right smack dab in the middle of a long weekend. They thought that one out really well. Who wants to bet that people crammed in as much visiting as they could today?
While not a heck of a lot will change for the region I live in because we have been in a constant level of lockdown since the end of November. This new one is province-wide which “should” help somewhat…maybe.
I’m not feeling optimistic though based on the last year.
And as per usual it isn’t what is best for the majority of the population, it is what is best for the people with the most power and money.
I thionk I will spend the day tomorrow unpacking and organizing my bookslheves. I love arranging my books.
I also think that the girls’ Easter baskets are still kicking around from last year so I should also try to find those since I won’t be going out to buy them a new one.
Weekly reads and some videos:
- 1999 – Sixty songs in 3 1/2 minutes. I forgot how many good songs came from that year.
- The Louvre’s entire collection is now online. I know how I am spending the evening.
- This Optical Illusion Lets You See True Cyan. It reminds me of those Magic eye pictures from the 90s except I could never see the images in those :/
- Mood puzzle.
- This artist makes jewellery from pieces of Barbies and it is really cool. My teen loves it.
- I want this writing desk.
- Did you know that eggshells will sharpen your blender blades? I didn’t.
- The Secret Life of Secondhand Clothing.
- Six Wonders Built by Pioneering Women Architects
- I’m kind of interested in this lockpicking course. I always thought that would be a neat skill to have…Historical Mixology would be kind of cool too.
- Some books to read for April.
