SHOP THE POST

Well, it started. The watching of Christmas movies. I’ve even bribed the girls that if they can get their shit together and stuff tidied I will put up the tree.

Because my 2020 motto is now “fuck it”.

I like the Christmas tree up. I get sad when it’s time to take it down. It makes me feel peaceful in the house, and if I want to put it up then I will.

I mean, there are people in the condo across from us that seemed to embrace this idea in July so I would say that I am late to the game on this one.

We watched the Grinch yesterday, as well as Mickey’s Christmas Carol (one of my favourites) and a Chip and Dale Christmas special on Disney+.

Merle has dug out her How The Grinch Stole Christmas book which means that I will be reading it every night until Christmas as I have for the last 7 years.

I actually have it memorized now.

I’m not sure if that is a good thing or bad.

I did a lot of rewearing this week. Rewearing is one of my favourite things about having a smallish closet.

On Monday and Tuesday, I wore the same oversized cardigan styled different ways, and on Thursday and Friday and wore the same sweater dress styled two different ways.

I also found a mask chain that I really like. You can see it in the second photo. It’s kind of like a beigey-light pink colour.

I found it at aitorontoseoul which is a sustainable accessory store in Toronto.

I would like another one in the olive colour but it is currently sold out so I signed up for an email notification in case it comes back in stock.

I also ordered two more masks from Moji Mask. They brought back in stock the two floral prints that I loved but missed out on the first time around.

I bought the Allie, and the Suri. I have two other floral prints, and two neutrals (one grey and one nude/skin tone).

So it will be 6 in total which is a good number since you have to wash between wear like underwear.

I feel like floral masks might be my thing.

It’s like the perfect accessory to liven up any outfit.

I’m embracing the shit out of wearing a mask. I am going to be bummed if/when we don’t have to wear them anymore.

Stay Safe.
