SHOP THE POST
Tomorrow is Merle’s birthday. She is turning 9, and we are going to the Dr Seuss Experience that opened nearby in October. I bought tickets way back at the beginning of September for this event, so I hope it is worth it.
I had to go out today to pick up a few small things for her birthday as well, and it was the first time I have shopped alone in a long time. And by long time I mean probably since around last Christmas.
It was nice. I tried on some jeans, spent as much time in each store as I wanted without having to listen to complaining, and had a London Fog from Starbucks which actually didn’t taste very good today so that was disappointing. I drank it anyway tough but it dampened the experience 😉
I have one more Christmas present to order from Amazon, a book to pick up, and I need to buy the stocking stuffers. Then I can say that I am done. I haven’t been wrapping as I went, so I have a funfilled few evenings of wrapping too.
Regardless of how much I hate wrapping presents (and how much I completely suck at it), this is still my favourite time of year.
