What is with these GRWM (Get Ready With Me) reels that are now flooding Instagram? I saw one person doing them, and now it seems every reel that pops up is one of these videos.

The question I have to ask though is, is it normal to be so graceful and put together when getting ready?

I finally signed up for three out of four classes that I need this week. The last one doesn’t start until February 17th, so I have time for that. I also found that I can rent the textbooks that I require from the Bookshelf app for a fraction of the cost.

Although I love having a physical copy of a book to keep, that is is much more economical way. And since the books that I need are not available new, then I would have to wait for them all to arrive.

We are currently in the middle of an extreme cold warning. You know it is cold when building management sends out a notice with warnings of how to avoid your pipes from freezing. That’s never good.

I haven’t left the house today, and probably won’t tomorrow because although I like the winter, this is cold too extreme for me to enjoy a walk.

I will say that having to wear a facemask definitely helps to keep the face warm, though. When paired with a beanie it’s like wearing a balaclava.

I meant to post this on my usual Friday night, but you know when you start a task, and then it keeps rolling into another one? Then before you know it, you have lost a couple of hours.

Something smelled gross in the fridge, so I went to toss out whatever it was, which lead to going through everything, then taking everything out and washing down the whole fridge.

Happy New Year. I’ve texted out Happy New Year many times over the last 24 hours and my autocorrect keeps changing it from Happy New Year to Happy New Tear, and I am trying my damnedest not to see this as a sign for 2022.

The last thing I need is more tears.

No resolutions for me because I won’t follow through with them. I know myself better than that now even though it is a nice thought to even think I would.

How are you all holding up? This week has been a wild ride and it finished with a news release that Ontario is rolling back some of the restrictions that recently opened. Universities have stated they will be online in January, and schools are telling kids to bring home all of their stuff just in case they aren’t coming back.

So it begins again.

I was going to buy tickets to the AGO’s Picasso Blue Period exhibition for a couple of days after Christmas and now I am debating whether I should.
