Weekly Reads and Finds

I was thinking a lot about fall this week because it’s a heatwave and I hate it, and my teen and I have been going through her clothes and organizing.

The things she doesn’t want we are going to list on Poshmark for a little extra cash for her.

It also inspired me to make an early fall packing list on Thursday, and from there I ordered this sweater dress tonight because H&M was having a flash sale.

According to reviews it is quite long which is what I was actually hoping for. I think it will look great over the resurrected motorcycle boot trend that is coming back for fall, and a pair of high sheath boots.

It will also work left open or partially buttoned over jeans or trousers. It’s quite a versatile piece, actually.

I haven’t really thought about what was on my fall list this year, but I think a nice, long, belted coat is something that I want to keep my eye out for.

I love outerwear and wish that I had a rack that was dedicated strictly to my coats and jackets.

As it stands, I have them stuffed in different areas, so it is really hard to have a visual inventory of what I have when they are scattered about.

On a positive note, I managed to get a bunch of them put away after they have been hanging around with no place to go for the last few months.

The kitten is still super cute. He’s naughty and funny, and his theme song is I Want to Break Free, by Queen.
