This spring capsule wardrobe is a little bit different this week. It doesn’t focus on a theme or particular colour palette. I am going to talk about all things colour in a wardrobe and the steps that you can take to break out of your neutral comfort zone.
Sometimes when I am deciding what kind of wardrobes to discuss each week, I go by a piece I came across that inspired me and I build a wardrobe around that one piece. Other times it is based on seeing what previous posts of mine are trending, and that gives me ideas as to what people are looking for.
A question I often get is, Sara, how can I stay true to my personal style but still embrace the seasonal fashion trends? The answer? Be picky and choose the seasonal trends that work with your style.
I think we make it more difficult than it has to be.
Every once in a while I like to talk about personal style, and how we can use that knowledge about ourselves into guiding our wardrobes. I also know that a lot of people who come by here for the first time are just starting on their capsule wardrobe journey so I thought I could make this a good jumping off point for beginners.
