I have been on a K-Drama kick again and binge-watched Move to Heaven. It was so good. Like cried a few times kind of good. I usually like the mystery or revenge shows (aside from Attorney Woo) but this was top notch.
If you like revenge dramas then The Glory was a great one.
Anyway, I highly recommend Move to Heaven.
It has been a goal of mine to start slowly building and adding some vintage 90s pieces in my wardrobe that were from some of the integral 90s minimalist designers.
Helmut Lang being one of those, and I have had this Helmut Lang blazer on my watch list for months playing the should I or shouldn’t I buy it game (expensive shipping).
Last night I saw that it was on sale for 20% which counterbalances the cost of shipping so I bought it before I missed out and then had massive regrets, like the green Ferragamo bag and Celine riding boots I missed out on last year and haven’t recovered from yet.
I posted a funny reel someone made on Instagram that says that nothing haunts you like the vintage pieces that you never bought, and I couldn’t agree more.
So many regrets in that area.
It’s one of those pieces that I can pair with anything, so I don’t have any worries that I won’t be able to figure out how to wear it.
I could easily come up with three ways to wear it, which is my rule before buying something. It helps to cut down on impulse buys.
And if I can think of three looks off the top of my head, then I know that I can come up with a lot more with a little thought.
If you are an impulse shopper it is a good practice to start. It at least makes you think about it a little bit harder before you buy something.
Anyway, my Adidas track pants arrived this weekend and the tracking shows they were delivered to the front desk.
Usually, within a couple of hours of being dropped off down there, I get an email from the front desk telling me that I have a package.
If I try to get it before the email they often haven’t logged it and will say that the computer shows that I don’t have anything which can be frustrating even if the bloody thing is sitting on the shelf behind them.
But it has been a day and a half, and they haven’t emailed me which always stresses me out because on more than one occasion they have logged the package under the wrong unit and it takes a while before they figure it out and correct it.
Back to the K-Dramas now, or I may watch the new campy Lindsay Lohan Netflix movie for some St Patrick’s Day vibes.
