I am sitting here at midnight staring at a box of jello that my youngest daughter placed on my desk so that I wouldn’t forget to make it before I go to bed. So it looks like I’m making jello later.
The amount of laundry that appeared in the last 48 hours in mind boggling.

Minimalist style is having a moment this season. Not minimalism in the traditional sense of fewer things, but the visual look of minimalist with its neutral, clean lines, and tone on tone looks. This summer capsule wardrobe reflects this trend.
I personally think that minimalist is a very chic look for the summer.
It is so simple yet so perfect and easy.

I have had a monster of a headache for the last 24 hours. It seems to be finally going away but it’s not a fun way to lose a weekend. I was trying to have a little nap on the couch for a few minutes earlier this evening, but Merle was giving me a non-stop play by play of what was taking place in Minecraft which made it impossible.
So I’m just sipping tea and rewatching The New Girl while hanging out with this post.

It finally happened. We finally started to open back up again. Our province moved into level one reopening which means that non-essential businesses that have entrances that open to the outside can reopen.
This means that malls are still closed, well most stores. All the ones you can access from outside entrances are open, so we finally go to the bookstore today. It was nice.

I am doing something a bit different this week. Years ago I did a different 10 day packing list that went from day to night. It was actually one of my most popular posts then and seems to have begun to gain traction again which is weird since it is old.
I guess it is the fact that many countries are starting to open back up for travel and people are starting to research. That post was due for an update but I always put it off since I had a never-ending roster of posts that were either requested or that I wanted to finish.

Whew it is a hot one today. It is supposed to be severe thunderstorms for the next three days so I did a lot of my errands today. It was not pleasant to walk in that’s for sure.
On a positive note, the nearby pharmacy has started doing 12+ vaccines, so I’ll take Roo down there this week. She is a fainter/panic attack/puking type of person because she hates needles, so I hope she can keep it together.
