When we want style inspiration, it is the Scandinavian street style fashionistas who we look to for new and upcoming trends. They have that effortlessly cool look that seems so simple but oozes such an individualistic style that it feels like it is unachievable for the masses.
This week we go back to a time that many of us remember well with a 2000s indie fall capsule wardrobe. The notable It girls of this time were Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Irina Lazareanu, Agyness Deyn, Sienna Miller, and Mary-Kate Olsen to name a few.
In the age of old money and the quiet luxury stealth wealth trend that is prominent this fall, it is only natural that preppy style should come roaring back into fashion. Many may argue that it never left, and I would agree with that.

We all have those times when we are standing in front of our closets and think how much easier everything would be if we just had a minimalist wardrobe. I do it often.
Even after years of understanding and getting real with my personal style. It happens to the best of us.
For the last few seasons when I cycle through updated seasonal capsule wardrobes I have been producing a 90s minimalist version. I love it, and it is one of my favourites that I make because it is so classic yet nostalgic at the same time.
I actually am not a big fan of the term quiet luxury, but it is a huge fall trend and that is what it is called so I have to go with it. I do prefer to think of it more as elevated wearability though.
