I would like to take a moment to congratulate myself on having a productive weekend. I have been struggling lately, and I momentarily got my shit together this weekend.
I even managed to run out quickly at 6 pm to do my errands that I was going to put off until tomorrow. Now I can focus the entire day tomorrow without having to worry about getting the other stuff done.
That being said, I have a long way to go, and I got the memo that the duct/fan coil maintenance people will be doing our floor on the 13th, so I have a lot of things I have to move around before then, so that they can get access to every area they need.
I was hoping they were skipping this year since they are so late in the season, but no such luck.
My birthday is on Wednesday, and I am trying to figure out what I want to do. It doesn’t have to be exciting, I just want us to do something together.
The late fan coil maintenance made me literally just realize that we haven’t had the window cleaners come by this summer either, which is also super late.
They usually do them in late spring so that you get a summer of clean windows before the sludge of fall and winter comes.
Maybe they delayed because of the extreme heat? I can’t imagine it being safe to hang from high buildings when it feels like it is 45°C.
No new or secondhand purchases this week, although it was close.
Now I need to go find something new to watch or read.
