I was trying to do taxes tonight because Tom’s need to be in by the end of April, but mine only need to be in by the end of June.

Which is causing problems because I need numbers from each of our completed tax returns to be able to finish the other person’s, which is like a weird catch-22.

So now I am going to have to restart and file them simultaniously I guess, which is a big pain in the ass, but I am running out of time.

Accountant, I am not, even though I took several college accounting courses.

Maybe it’s because I am working on a half-functioning brain since I didn’t fall asleep until 6 am, and then the cats decided it was a cool time to have zoomies across my head.

Also, the weather is transitioning, which means the heat from the sun during the day warms up the apartment a lot and there is no a/c or even enough of a cool air draft to bring it down.

I hate this period.

There were no new purchases this past week except a hair dryer because mine decided it was a good time to overheat and I was scared it was going to start a fire.

I only bought a cheap one though ($20), because I am not a big hair styling person, and I have not reached a Dyson wrap income level yet…kidding, sort of.

That being said, I am a fashion person and two items that some of you may still have from around 20 years ago are the skull scarf by Alexander McQueen and Chloe’s Paddington bag.

Pull those treasures out because they are noted as coming back in. The cycle of fashion is so funny.

And so tiring.
