We have a lot of secondhand and vintage stock that we have sourced over the years which I occasionally sell, but have been holding on to until I set up my online store.

I know, it’s taking me forever.

Anyway, A lot of it is stored in bins in our storage locker which is jammed-packed to capacity.

The last time my husband loaded some of his stuff down there I told him to make sure that he didn’t block my access to the Christmas decor because it is hard for me to move all that crap in order to get to it.

Especially after the incident a few years back when I was down there so long that the lights timed out on me and I was four levels below ground in a cement room full of cage lockers with the only light being the glow from the exit sign.

It was like horror movie material.

And of course, what did he do?

He shoved everything in here blocking access. So when he was moping about yesterday declaring he was bored I sent him down to rearrange stuff so I could get in there.

The bonus was that he came across a bin that was full of vintage leather jackets which he brought up and when I went through it, I pulled out some that I just might want to keep myself.

Like a funnel neck, a-line cut with bell sleeves which I wore today. It’s funny how when you relook at the pieces you often find stuff that will work with your current wardrobe.

A few years ago it wasn’t my style.

Now, I was all over it.

So yes, I am still working on setting up a shopping site. It’s harder than I thought. In the meantime, I will often list things on my Poshmark.

Although Canada Post might be going on strike which doesn’t bode well, and I wonder if they will have alternate shipping options if this is the case.

Thankfully anything I have ordered for Christmas that is being delivered by them has already arrived so I don’t need to worry about any gifts being stuck in the mail if this is the route it goes.

I’m still sick, this one has been hanging with all its might. For such a doozy it’s interesting than no one else in the house caught it.

That is usually the case with me though.

Nothing new was bought this week for me, but I did order my youngest a pair of vintage Levi’s off of Poshmark.

She was very anti jeans with holes before, but changed her tune and now wants more. I love to watch her style evolve.

  1. Great coat and great belt for it… I’ve stolen this idea for a nice coat without closure that I didn’t know how to wear in cold weather. Thanks!
