There is always so much potential in a long weekend and yet 99% of the time it ends up falling flat. I’m pretty certain that this was the first summer that we have literally done nothing worth being notable.
So boredom was pretty high the last few months.
It didn’t help that My husband was just getting back to work after a year of being unemployed, or that I owe the government a shit ton of taxes. It doesn’t leave much fun money to play around with.
But, I am never sad to see the summer go and I much rather do fun things when the weather isn’t so hot. Last time we went to the massive antique warehouse which we love, it was really hot out and there is no a/c in there.
It was difficult to walk around and search for things while feeling like we were suffocating.
The newest colour of the Adidas SL 72s was released late last night/early morning in both Canada and the US. I’ve been waiting for this colour since I saw they were coming out months ago. How time flies.
The conclusion to my Shippsy adventure should be this week, after an uneventful long weekend where it hung out in pre-transit mode.
Tomorrow, if the day cooperates with me I am going to talk a bit about the animal print trend and how I am embracing it and what I am not doing with it on my Instagram stories.
Also note, if you like my long black, faux leather maxi-ish skirt that I bought last year, they have it this season in a chocolate brown which is a nice version. Chocolate brown is big this season.
I’ve also got to get my shit together a bit to figure out some schooling stuff tomorrow too.
I should actually get that figured out tonight. Blah.
