Ok, so for some reason my post from last night was showing that it was under a subscription, albeit a free one which may have caused issues for some of you.

I have no idea what I might have turned on in the settings accidentally but that is not the case. I updated WordPress which might have turned on something that I didn’t know about. Sometimes there are weird bugs like that.

Which is why I wait to update until they’ve worked most of them out. Maybe I didn’t wait long enough?

I just want to note that this site will never go under a paid subscription. That is what substack is for, which this obviously is not.

It took me a bit to figure out what I might have done, and I hope it is fixed now. It appears to be when I use an incognito window but that doesn’t always mean anything.

So please let me know if it is still showing a locked header. If you entered your email to unlock it and my mailer sends you the weekly email tomorrow, feel free to unsubscribe via the bottom of that email.

Grabbing emails was not my intention.

I had no idea there was an issue until I looked at my site in an incognito window to see it from a perspective that wasn’t mine, which is where I saw the subscription notification.

Unfortunately, this sometimes happens when you are a one-woman show and not a professional IT person. I often have to learn and teach myself as I encounter issues.

So, just In case you missed it due to my screw-up, I posted a Preppy Capsule Wardrobe yesterday.

Sorry about that.
