It is going to be a rainy weekend and I am here for it. I love it when it rains, because then I don’t feel like I am obligated to run around outside doing errands.
It’s like the weather permits me to relax for a minute. Which is weird because I don’t feel the same in the winter.
I’ll gladly go out in the cold and snow.
I was going to say that I didn’t make any new purchases this week but that would be a lie. Originally I ordered these sneakers.
But I mentioned previously that when they arrived the nylon portion was too orange. I was looking for sunny yellow and mustard.
Then I saw these and jumped on them since Revolve includes duties and taxes in the price so you don’t get any surprise charges when they arrive.
And they arrived tonight and they are awesome. Just the colours I was looking for.
I always love shoes in fun colours.
It makes getting dressed easier since you can wear the most basic outfit and throw on a colourful shoe, then bam, much less basic.
That is the power of a good shoe.
In case you missed it I put together an edgy minimalist fall capsule wardrobe yesterday with some nice deep colours.

Hi Sara, Will this get me back on your mailing list? I can’t see anywhere to (re)subscribe
Hi Sabbian, I am not legally allowed to enter your email into my lists, but on every post I have on here a subscribe box is near the top few paragraphs of the post. If you scroll slowly, after the second paragraph will be a box that says you can enter your email to keep up to date on posts. That will put you back onto the list. A few months ago my mailing list provider did a huge server update. During this update somehow around 20% of my mail list subscribers were removed and I’ve been getting a lot of messages regarding that. I’m sorry for the issue, but I’m happy you want to stick around. – Sara
