I must say that I am really enjoying my subscription to Britbix which I purchased cheaply on Amazon Prime Day. I plan to watch as much as possible before the discounted subscription is over and it goes back to full price.
Sunday is usually one of my errand days but I couldn’t bring myself to face the summer crowds today.
Tomorrow maybe.
Last week was super annoying because I sold a bunch of stuff on Pushmark (which wasn’t annoying) but it always happened after I came home from dropping off a different package.
Nothing sold within the same time frame so I had to make 6 different trips which is done by foot so it takes a big chunk out of my day.
Especially since the sun and heat make me feel horrible and I always felt like I could take a 12 hour nap when I got back.
I now understand why businesses will allocate specific days for shipping, but it doesn’t work on Poshmark because if you don’t get it out asap people complain and rate you badly.
I don’t have time for that shit.
What I do have time for is working on a blog post about summer outfit ideas to get us through the last drudges of the season.
That is what I am working on currently in tandem with this and will hopefully have it done by sometime tomorrow. Maybe.
Now I am going to watch all seasons of Vera while finishing the post. It is weird because when I was younger I couldn’t work on anything with music playing.
Now I can’t listen to music if something needs my concentration but I need to have some kind of background noise so I usually run a tv show.
Not something that needs 100% of my focus either, otherwise I won’t be able to do what I need to do.
I just can’t have it completely quiet unless I am filling out paperwork or completing a course, then I need total silence.
It’s kind of like needing to sleep with a fan on even in the winter because without it, it is too quiet and I can’t sleep.
But not all white noise is created equal and I have yet to find something that works for sleeping as well as a fan.
And now that I am sitting here and the sun has almost set, and I wish I had run my errands today so they were over with.
Anyway, back to Vera.
