I do not accept many PR gifts that are offered to me unless it is something that I am going to or would buy for myself. That being said, when ZIIP Beauty offered to send me one of their Halo devices I was all over that because I have wanted to get one since 2021.

Ever since I saw this review by Girl Get Glamorous and her updates from the years following I have made a mental note to purchase a device at some point.

I also wanted to give it a good go before I said anything and it has been about 5 weeks now.

I am going to do a beauty post with some more in-depth discussion about it and other things I use, but I wanted to make a mention of it today before it slipped my mind.

The hype is real and the more I use it the more I notice a difference. The effects are long term so it is really about consistent use to make sure that you are getting the most out of it.

You use this device with the facial gel, and the free ZIIP app that contains different facial videos to follow along with.

They also kindly gave me a code SWZIIP for 10% off your purchase at ZIIP Beauty.

I don’t really talk about beauty much because I have very irritable skin that is easy to tick off so I have to be careful and can’t switch up and try new products all the time.

My skin likes a basic routine.

But I will do a post regarding this device and the other products soon.

Topic change: I was pleasantly surprised that Fedex delivered my package today. I thought they only did weekend deliveries during the Christmas season.

Anyway, my birthday gift to myself arrived and it’s beautiful. My favourite colour by one of my favourite brands which makes me happy.

It was a Japanese eBay purchase, and I often find that they offer bags in styles and colours that might not have been available in North America, and I think that this might have been one.

It is a 2010 model.

I am so excited to use it, and that this colour of olive green is a huge fall/winter 2024 trend.

I shared an image of it on Instagram stories tonight and pointed out you don’t have to buy new to participate in trends.

I don’t think that some people realize that you can do trend interpretations using secondhand items.

Anyway, I also wanted to share that Vestiaire has my vintage Celine Boogie Bag for sale by a Canadian seller which means if you live in Canada you can bypass the duty fees that you get hit with if you order anything off of there.

I always try to search for Canadian sellers but unfortunately, there are not a lot. Sometimes you get lucky though.

It is a great little everyday bag with attitude.

We are off to a weird week, so let’s hope that the rest of it is relatively tame in comparison.

Have a good one.
