I had a sore back last week which I am 99% certain is from sleeping because, you know, I have reached the age where something as mundane as closing the utensil drawer can throw your back out.

Anyway, my husband thrashes a lot when he sleeps, which I am pretty sure is his undiagnosed sleep apnea, so I basically have to sleep in one position the whole night to remove myself from the thrashing limbs.

This jacks my back up, and when he was gone last week and I had free rein to move about, it miraculously got better.

Now he is home for the weekend and I woke with a twinge, but he’ll be going again sometime this week depending on the weather so hopefully it holds out.

I am an extremely light sleeper which I think is better suited for the couch.

Onwards and upwards.

My favourite colour is that 70s shag carpet, olivey kitchen sort of green and I was thrilled when I found a vintage 90s Yves Saint Laurent on Etsy for peanuts.

And in true Sara luck fashion, the package got lost in the mail and now I am super bummed but determined to find another vintage model.

I’m holding out hope that it appears but it was via DHL and they tend to be pretty good unless something is very lost. I think it is very lost.

Which is too bad because it was a great sweater.

Criteria: green, oversized, vintage, and not scratchy.

That is the current wardrobe piece I am hunting for, besides a raincoat.

  1. I love your style. Trendy and rock and roll. I love your suggestions. The pieces you wear a timeless. Bought a great raincoat in lilac at Primark last year that looks great. They have some great affordable choices. I bought a light about 10 years ago – red with white polka dots. It has been everywhere with me from camping, festivals and holidays. It only cost like $5. I live I a part of Norway where it rains a lot so having a good raincoat is essential.

    • Thank you! I wish we had a Primark here. I’m going to have to buckle down and find one because it’s been very wet here recently and I do most of my errands by foot. Red with polka dots is such a great colour. $5 is a fantastic deal!
