I napped today for the first time in what feels like 20 years. The ant treatment people were in the building really early this morning, and our floor was the first on their roster.

Which means I had to get up super early after going to bed after 4am.

Apparently, it is one column of units that has the issue, but they treated the whole building as a precaution. Luckily we aren’t in that column.

So after they left I had a nap for a little over an hour in the living room with the sun blasting through the window hitting me in the face.

I’m the kind of person who always has better quality naps than actual nighttime sleeping. I don’t know why, but it is super frustrating.

And the fact that I slept better with the sun blasting, then I did the previous night in a cool, dark room is weird.

The cats enjoyed it though. One slept on my pillow beside my face, and the other by my legs.

The girls napped too since I made them get up just in case the people needed to go into their rooms, plus they needed to watch the cats.

And my husband was up in the countryside helping someone out, so it was nice and quiet which never happens.

I need more quiet in my life.
