My oldest daughter turns 19 today and it is such a trip. I can’t believe it has been 19 years already. Life moves so ridiculously fast sometimes.

I asked her what she wanted me to buy for dinner, anything she wanted, and she chose Panera. Weirdo.

We finally managed to put the Christmas tree up this week. I think it is almost time for a new one because it is getting a little sad looking.

Very Charlie Brown Christmas tree, although it looks better once decorated.

I will tell you that the storage room locker was way worse than I remember. I feel like my husband was down there at some point rooting around because it was not as well-packed as I left it.

We need to take an afternoon, or maybe an entire weekend, to go down there and get it sorted. It is kind of where things go when we want to forget about them.

So much stuff can be purged that moved with us last time We shoved it down there instead of being donated or given away like it should have been because we were rushing.

In case you missed it, I posted a preppy capsule wardrobe yesterday in response to the preppy trend that is heading our way for spring and summer.

Get that polo shirt ahead of time and start integrating it into your wardrobe now. It’s a versatile pieces that will be a good substitute for your regular white t-shirt or tank top.

I haven’t bought anything yet for the Black Friday sales, which is nice. I’m sure that if I had waited, I probably could have found some of the Christmas gifts I bought at a cheaper cost.

But I am glad I am done, and that I don’t have to be battling fluctuating inventory levels.

Good luck if you are out shopping in person this weekend. It’s one pf my least favourite times to leave the house.
