This week I wore a lot of thrifted secondhand, and vintage items so I couldn’t link everything. I found similar items when I could and marked it as such.

I am enjoying seeing my closet slowly shifting to mostly secondhand and vintage items though.

It is an extremely slow process, but I don’t go a single day without wearing something that is a secondhand item, even if it is just shoes or a handbag.

But on the topic of new items, I ordered a pair of sneakers that have been out of stock for a while. I just happened to check on the weekend and saw that they had one pair in my size restocked, so I grabbed them.

They are listed on the Canadian site, but for the US and other locations I found them here. They are the Vintage TRX and have a very 80s vibe which is something that I love in a sneaker.

I also saw that they came in a lighter and brighter blue, but I can’t find those anywhere, so I went with the darker blue.

I am starting to realize that I am very much a shoe person. Predominantly a sneaker person, and I am not certain how I didn’t realize this before.

I also realize how often that I gravitate towards blue after hating it most of my life. It is so weird how you can shift like that for no apparent reason.

This weekend I worked on finishing an easy-to-wear and easy-to-pack summer capsule wardrobe. 12 pieces plus shoes and some light accessories for a whole vacation worth of complete looks.

I am still on a reading dry spell and I have been going through old books to keep me somewhat entertained but man, I have not had this much trouble having a book keep my interest in a very, very long time.

So with that I sign off to go read some Goodreads reviews to hopefully find something to get me out of the rut.
