You would think after carrying the groceries home every single time I go grocery shopping, that I would have developed an eye for figuring out what the maximum level I could carry home is.

Every single time, it never fails.

I always grossly overestimate my abilities and today was no exception, it was hot, and it made everything all the worse.

I used to have a grocery cart until one of the kids sat on it and the wheel fell off mid-walk home.

I then had to use my foot as a wheel and support and basically Fred Flinstone it very slowly home. And I still have not replaced that cart.

Even though I keep intending to, then I don’t and I end up bitching about carrying groceries again for the millionth time.

What I truly want is one like this, but I don’t think they ship to Canada so I’ll just end up with a boring plain one probably from Amazon.

Before I grocery shopped I had to drop off a Poshmark package, and I stopped into Zara to see if they had a shirt there that I was interested in online.

When I checked store inventory online it said that they were in stock but I did 3 rounds of the store, checking every single rack, and they weren’t there.

I just wanted to get a feel for it in person even if they didn’t have my size. The store was chaos though.

I think the heat brings out the shoppers.

Most of them were probably from the surrounding condos since the buildings haven’t switched over to air conditioning yet.

It was a nice cool reprieve and I am sure I wasn’t the only one looking for an escape from the heat.

As I am sitting here though, I can feel the cooler air coming in through the window and it just started raining heavily. It should be back to normal temps tomorrow and I can’t wait.

Still no purchases for the last two weeks. I’m actually doing pretty well on cutting back on shopping.

I guess it helps when you are trying to buckle down, so you can pay back the exorbitant amount of taxes you owe :/

Anyway, have a great week.
