What I thought was going to be a super productive week was not. Is that a January thing? I feel like I am still trying to catch up and get organized from Christmas.

I managed to put out an Edgy capsule wardrobe using your style adjectives post yesterday, and a made a digital style guide about spring trends and how to wear them.

I managed to get that Bouclé coat from H&M that I had wanted. It had sold out fast before I had the money to order it, but I kept a tab open on my computer and checked it a few times a day looking for some return restocks.

Originally I wanted the medium but when the small came in I grabbed it and it fits well. All the reviews said it was huge and to size down, but I disagree.

It has an intentionally slightly oversized fit and your regular size should be fine. Although if you are under 5’2″-ish and small framed, it might be too overwhelming for you depending on your proportions and the length of your arms.

That being said, it is well-made and kind of Chanel-esque in its style and will be a great wardrobe classic.

I look forward to putting my new but yet-to-arrive leather rosette pin on it.

I’m going to have to find this book somewhere that won’t cost me $300+. Its photos are by Amy Arbus who was the woman who documented New York’s street style of the 1980s. I saw photos from it, and it looks so inspiring.
