I am giving you a little fashion heads-up. After seeing them around over the last couple of years, and gaining popularity recently, the Birkenstock Boston is quickly becoming a fall IT shoe.
This means that the popularity has moved down to the masses (meaning us) and everyone and their dog are trying to buy them.
So, I am by no means telling you to run out and get them if they weren’t even on your radar or are not your style, but if they are something that you have been contemplating for a fall shoe then you might want to decide quickly because they are starting to sell out.
The light brown/stone/taupe seems to be the most popular colour, but the chestnut and black are also moving fast.
I have been dancing around these for a while and decided it was now or never, and I ended up getting the black.
After some thought, I opted for the style with the shearling lining. I figure that with the shearling I will be able to wear them comfortably until the first snowfall.
I chose black because they will go better with the 90s minimalist aesthetic I have been drawn to lately.
And usually when I choose a colour that has a black version available, I always seem to regret not getting the black.
So that is my tip if you are on the fence. Buy them soon or you may miss the chance.
They even have a vegan option.
Your best bet is to find them at the actual Birkenstock store, or you can try a bid at StockX. May the odds be ever in your favour.
On a side note, I found my youngest some really cute ballet flats on Poshmark. They are from Charlotte Olympia and they are cats.
These are them, and I hope that they fit.
They are so cute and this was such a good price. One of the best I have seen them for, and I couldn’t pass them up.
I’ve had them on my watch list for a while for her, and I got a notification that someone put in an offer on them.
Nothing motivates my buying decision faster than someone trying to buy something that I want. That is a toxic trait of mine.
